A swivel ball with the rubber nozzles is held captive inside the entire assembly, which allows it to rotate (with a moderate amount of pressure required) about 25 degrees in either direction.So, when I bought these, I didn't even want to rough-in my drop ears in my shower since there's almost no information anywhere on the web about the spray pattern they make. My concern was that if I mounted them in the wrong spot, they would end up spraying the floor, my face, the wall, etc. So I waited for them to arrive before diagraming the rest of my plumbing. So, hopefully, the below information will help you make a more informed decision when you go to purchase these guys sight unseen.
