This is a water saving shower head. It's lower output also results in higher pressure if you are lacking pressure in your shower head. Most shower heads put out 2.5 GPM. So 1.5 GPM is a significant difference. The guts are brass, the fitting is stainless steel, the body is plastic, and the finish is chrome paint. This is a smaller showerhead than the speakman 2005.
