This review is from: Waxman 8681600 4-Spray Body Moods Handheld Showerhead, Brushed Nickel (Tools & Home Improvement) I just took delivery of this new shower sprayer on April 10, 2012, and I must say that I'm highly impressed with how big it is and how nice it works. The massage setting is especially nice, and would also recommend it to any of my female associates - both local and abroad. I will admit, though, I wasn't expecting it to come with its own hose. Well after seeing how cheaply-made the hose that came with this sprayer really was, I decided to just get rid of it and use the sprayer with my existing high-quality all-metal shower hose. Besides, that kit hose was made from cheap plastic, and would be non-conforming to the way I would prefer to mount it onto my main faucet tap. The stainless steel Plumb USA hose I have is so much easier and better to use. It's also longer and more flexible. Probably the only other piece from this shower sprayer kit that I will keep is the hose mount/tap - that is, in case I decide to do an upgrade which involves changing out the original spout... I myself consume less than the EPA daily recommendations for water use per person and am pleased by that. But I also believe that we should be free to choose ourselves how we wish to conserve and not have these choices made instead by government bureaucrats. There is something very wrong with the concept that you can dump thousands of gallons a day on your lawn to keep it green in the desert, but then are forced to used a low flow shower or toilet whose savings pale in comparison to other methods, while often producing very unsatisfactory performance. Federal law prohibits the manufacturer from selling a shower head that uses more than 2.5 gallons per minute, but the law DOES NOT prohibit the home owner from using own a shower head that uses more water. Therefore, it is perfectly OK for you to decide you want a shower that uses more water if you want. However, since the early 90's finding such a shower head, other than... Even on the cold setting, however, the water force from this shower head is not very good. I have a Resources Conservation shower head in my upstairs bathroom that, by contrast, combines low flow with high velocity to produce a strong, fine shower spray. Unfortunately, Resources Conservation seems to have gone out of business. I wish someone would purchase the design of their old shower head and start manufacturing it again! This Speakman shower head is a poor substitute on any setting. Pros: This low-flow shower head seems well made. The shower transitions smoothly from a medium spray to a solid stream. Cons: Even on a fully cold setting, the 1.75 GPM flow from this shower head is disappointing. The spray is weak and the solid stream is insipid. Low flow must be combined with...
