I had been used several Waterpik Massage Handheld Shower heads so far... However, after I got this, found out the new era of shower. It is only one mode with strength controller, not like Waterpik's 4~7 modes, but it throws lots of strong spray even though weak water pressure. The spray contains lots of air, that's why it is more louder than Waterpik, but no issue at all. Only one problem is the hose. It is a bit short-prefer at least 80 inch, not 59 inch. Also, it is not rotate for easy handling. Otherwise, Oxygenics shower head is the best one with affordable price. As far as increasing water pressure, it does a good job. And we thought the length of the hose was adequate. Our complaint is that the diameter of the spray of water is too small. With our old showerhead, the spray of water was wide and our entire body could be sprayed with water throughout the shower. However, with this showerhead, the spray of water is too small to spray the entire body at once, with the result being that the part of the body that isn't getting sprayed is getting cold. So in case you are like me and didn't notice in the photo that the showerhead opening is narrow, here's your warning. (Hope I'm making this clear...not sure I'm using the correct wording.) Another thing is that the air being forced into the water cools it down considerably, so we had to turn the hot water up a little. Maybe that's to be expected. I use it because I have hard water and other showerheads clog up and then spray water in all directions. Unclogging them is a hassle, so it's easier to use this and not have the chore of unclogging the showerhead. Someday we'll get a water softener, but until then, at least we won't be hassled by this. It has some kind of adjustment, but I don't bother with it, and I also did not use the hose because I have nicer hoses to use. So it's standard enough to be interchangeable with other shower parts. |
